There are several student communities existing at BIAS, each has its own role. These keep on organizing different events throughout the year so that the students get a little bit of entertainment along with studies.
Cultural Committee :- The main philosophy behind the cultural committee is to makes students participation in various curriculum activities which include Skits, Birla Idols, Basura, Dance, Fancy Dress, Drum Sharas etc. Eco Committee :- Eco committee has major role to play in the institute as its take care of the vast campus maintaining it clean and green. Printing and Publication Committee :- It provide platform to student to share their views with their fallow students through the medium to the magazine “Biasian”. The student submit articles, quizzes, jokes and similar stuff which are published in the magazine. Techno forum :- Birla Institute of Applied Sciences is a technical institute hence the importance of techno forum society can't be overlooked. This Committee has been nurturing the talent in the field of electronic and computer application of the student of the Institute. The committee regularly organizes the different events which include Hard-O-Tech, Soft-O-Tech, Wed-O-Tech, Write-O-Tech. Fine Arts Society :- What's a college without a bit of creativity and art.
