The institute plans to expand its existing administrative building. A new, well spread out central building to accommodate higher number of students and courses is in the offing. There are plans to augment the existing girls/boys hostel, and also the staff quarters. Plans are afoot to connect the institute along with BIT Mesra and its extension centers to a U.S.gateway, enabled by the THAICOM III satellite (bypassing the VSNL/BSNL network) to ensure high speed (155 Mbps) and congestion free connectivity at all times. A center for Innovation & Incubation in IT & IT enabled services is to be set up under an M.O.U. with the Govt. of Uttaranchal. |
